Emma is an associate in the Family Law Practice Group.
Emma brings compassion, insight and a commitment to fairness to her work. Client-focused and solution-oriented, Emma obtained her law degree from the University of New Brunswick where she was a student leader and community organizer. She hosted numerous public legal education lectures with legal practitioners and scholars to support students, faculty, and the greater community in understanding practice areas and changes in the legal industry. Emma also served on student committees focused on gender issues, mental health and social justice. During her final year of law school, Emma completed a semester abroad in Sweden at Lund University (passing with distinction), which is consistently ranked among the world’s top 100 universities.
Emma is also a proud graduate of the University of Guelph, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Science (Honours), with Double Minors in International Development and Psychology: Brain and Cognition. Emma is happy to return to live and work in the community.
Prior to being called to the Ontario Bar in 2021, Emma articled at SV Law. In her spare time, Emma can be found either travelling, reading, canoeing, cooking, or trying to improve her green thumb.
