Jamie is a civil litigator who predominantly practices in condominium litigation, and municipal and land use planning law.
In his practice, Jamie helps individuals, corporations, and governments resolve their contentious matters. He applies his interests in research and legislation to resolve disputes, and to help clients navigate challenging approval processes. Jamie is personable in his approach and prides himself on simplifying complex legal issues to provide clear legal advice.
Jamie obtained his law degree from the University of Ottawa where he served on the Ottawa Law Review, participated in the uOttawa—Ecojustice Environmental Law Clinic, and worked as a summer law student with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General (Northern Development and Mines - Legal Services). Before law school, he completed his Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Hons.) at the University of Waterloo. Jamie also worked in several environmental-related roles with various government organizations, and articled with SV Law before joining the firm as an associate in 2021.
Jamie was raised in Orangeville and is excited to settle in Guelph. He is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hiking, canoeing, backcountry camping, and downhill skiing. Jamie is also an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan.
