James practices as a civil litigator with a focus on employment law, insurance litigation and construction disputes. James prepares and reviews employment contracts and acts for employers and employees in wrongful dismissal lawsuits.
James started at SV Law as a summer law student in 2013 and proceeded to article with the firm through 2014-15. He joined SV Law as an associate upon being called to the bar in June 2015.
James is an alumni of the University of Guelph, where he was actively involved in intramural sports and the peer-tutoring program. While attending law school at Queen’s University, James sat on several local committees and worked as a member of Pro Bono Canada.
Outside of work, James enjoys travel, unsuccessful Toronto sports franchises, and questioning why he plays golf.
