Reporting to the Director of Administration; ensures that the Firm’s technology is in alignment with its business practices; maintains the Firm’s network systems, workstations, phone, voicemail, wireless communication devices. Ensure the firm stays current in it’s hardware and software needs, by research and networking with peers in the industry.
- Experience with multi-platform operating systems including Windows 10, Windows 2008 and 2016 Server,
- VMware virtualization,
- Meraki firewalls, VPN (site-to-site and client), Security,
- Veeam Backup and remote replication,
- Cisco, HP, Dell routing and switching,
- Experience with Exchange 2010 and Office 365,
- Citrix remote servers,
- SQL databases
- Related College Diploma and/or industry certification
- 7+ years of IT experience
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Exchange,
- Document Management System (knowledge of Worldox would be an asset)
- Knowledge of Legal software such as PC-LAW, DoProcess (Conveyancer DivorceMate, Estate-a-Base, etc.) Teraview, Emergent, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
- High level of judgment/organizational skills and initiative to deal with complex duties
- Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive, highly confidential matters
- Ability to effectively multi task when working under conflicting priorities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience in IT infrastructure planning and development
- Common work schedule is Monday through Friday – 8:30am to 5pm
- Working off hours on site or remotely required

Civil Litigation Law Clerk / Legal Assistant
This is an excellent opportunity for the ideal candidate who has completed at minimum a University Degree and/or a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant program and has related experience. This candidate will have experience organizing and monitoring ongoing litigation files including drafting and delivering Pleadings, Affidavits of Documents; Motion materials, Trial Briefs, Document Briefs, Witness Briefs, and other materials required to prepare for arbitration or trial. Other duties to include but not limited to reviewing transcripts and following up on Undertakings, drafting and filing documents relating to: Correspondence to clients and opposing counsel including Authorizations, Bills of Costs, Consent to Judgment, Draft Judgment, and other material required for settlement or trial and arranging for Examinations for Discovery and Mediations. Condominium Legal Assistant / Law Clerk
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate of a Legal Administration program and/or Law Clerk Program or for a junior with 1-2 years’ experience within the area of real estate with a keen interest in Condominium Law. In this role you will be supporting both Lawyers and clerks/assistants in the Condominium Practice Group. Your responsibilities will primarily be to provide administrative support which may include: file opening, filing, formatting of documents, delivery of correspondence, preparation of pre-bills, keeping track of deadlines, and various other administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Additionally, strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for dealing effectively with clients, other lawyers, and professionals in this high-volume environment.
Experience with MS Office, specifically Outlook and Word is a must and preference will be given to those with knowledge, in the applications of Teraview, Conveyancer and PCLaw.

Experience and knowledge with MS Office is a must and strong negotiating skills and experience with PCLaw and Small Claims Court procedures are considered assets.
