About the Opportunity:
As the successful candidate you will have general knowledge in family law gained through a related post-secondary education program such as a Legal Administration or Law Clerk Program, or related work experience, and have 2 - 3 years' experience in a similar role. Your primary responsibilities will be to provide administrative and clerk support including drafting written correspondence and documents, such as Applications, Affidavits, Case/Settlement Conference Briefs, Separation Agreements, Parenting Plans, etc., and drafting Financial Statements, Net Family Property Statements, and Orders from Endorsements. You must also be skilled at using Adobe Acrobat for electronic filings with the Court.
You will be responsible for calendar management, liaising with clients and opposing counsel, and to perform all other administrative tasks associated with a busy family law practice.

About the Opportunity:
As the successful candidate you will have a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 - 3 years of transitional real estate experience.
Your primary responsibility will be to work within and support a real estate team, managing real estate transactions from start to finish, preparing draft requisition letters and responses, drafting purchase, sale and mortgage documents, managing refinances and private mortgages, reporting to clients and lenders, calendar management, digital and physical file maintenance and communicating effectively with lawyers, clients, real estate agents, banks and mortgage brokers. Experience with MS Office, Teraview and Unity are a must and knowledge of LEAP will be considered an asset.
Exposure to Condo Development and Sales is considered a strong asset but is not required.

As a successful candidate you will have a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two - four (2-4) years of experience in a corporate role. This experience should include preparing articles of incorporation, amendment, amalgamation, dissolution and revival, the preparation of resolutions and transactional documentation, registering business names, conducting corporate searches, and preparing annual resolutions. You must also be skilled at managing and scheduling within a busy lawyer’s calendar and performing various other administrative and clerk related tasks associated with a partner’s busy corporate practice.
Familiarity with Appara, MS Office, LEAP, and PPSA registrations would be considered a strong asset.

About the Opportunity:
Interested in taking on a new challenge? Every wondered how a condominium is created? If so, SV Law has an exciting opportunity with a supportive team and extensive training provided
Your primary responsibility in this position would be working with the CPG Development team in all aspects of condominium development. Your role will entail drafting of condominium documents; assisting with condition fulfillment; registering required easements or other documents; handling communications from planners, surveyors, engineers/architects, Registry Office/other government representatives, and clients; and assisting with interim occupancies and final closings following registration of a condominium. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel), Teraview, Conveyancer/Unity and PC Law are used on a regular basis. Knowledge of the Condominium Act and experience with preparing/registering various documentation in Teraview are considered an asset. Full in-house training will be provided.
About You:
As the successful candidate, you will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a real estate clerk. Experience with Condo development is an asset, but not required.
