SV Law congratulates Diana Piccoli on her appointment as Judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario

We are delighted to announce that SV Law partner Diana Piccoli has been appointed a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, a member of the Family Court Branch and a Judge ex officio of the Court of Appeal for Ontario. The appointment was announced on May 3^rd by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General for Canada, the Honourable David Lametti.

Diana joined SV Law in 1997 before being made a partner in 2001. For more than 20 years at the firm, she has served clients in the areas of Family Law and residential Real Estate law as well as in the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney. She has been a mentor to many lawyers at SV Law and has been actively involved in the Guelph and area community, having served on the boards of several local organizations, particularly as past Chair of the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital, past Chair of Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis and the fundraising committee for the Children First Campaign of Family & Children's Services of Guelph & Wellington County.

While we will miss Diana immensely, we are excited to see her begin this new and exciting chapter of her career. Congratulations Justice Piccoli!
