As part of her time at the Senate, she attended committee meetings, and provided advice to the Senator on human rights and Indigenous-related issues. Further, as part of her studies, she participated in clinic work to help clients with landlord and tenant disputes. Before law school, Brittany completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with a specialization in French and a major in political science at Brescia University College at Western. She also completed a MA in global governance at the Balsillie School of International Affairs.
