Michael’s practice is focused on all aspects of family law, including difficult custody and access cases. He enjoys working with clients to achieve efficient and just results. Michael represents clients through a range of dispute resolution mechanisms including preparing agreements, negotiating resolutions with counsel, representing clients in mediation and arbitration and where needed, in court. Michael regularly draws on his significant advocacy experience and represents clients in the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice.
Michael works with clients to address various Employment Law matters including terminations and wrongful dismissal claims.
Michael also works regularly with clients to prepare wills and powers of attorney to suit the needs of his clients.
Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2003. He then attended law school at the University of British Columbia, graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor of Laws degree. Michael was called to the bar in 2008 in British Columbia and 2010 in Ontario.
Michael is the Treasurer of the Wellington Law Association. Additionally, he is the President of the Board of Family Counseling and Support Services for Guelph-Wellington and the Past President of the Rotary Club of Guelph Wellington. Michael enjoys golf, curling and collecting records.
