Nivala is an associate in the Family Law Practice Group.
Nivala earned a Masters of Law from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sussex, and a Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice & Public Policy and Leadership from the University of Guelph. Throughout her academic career, Nivala worked with a number of groups to develop diversity, equity & inclusion policies and served as a mediator for first instance student disputes.
Nivala grew up in the Waterloo Region, and is excited to be part of a firm and community that is close to home. In her spare time, Nivala enjoys travelling, keeping active through biking & hiking, and spending time with family & friends.
