Rachel Smylie is an Associate in the Family Law Practice Group.
Rachel completed her undergraduate degree in International Development Studies from Trent University and obtained her Juris Doctor degree with a Minor in Indigenous Legal Orders from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. During her time at Windsor Law, Rachel participated in the Kawaskimhon Aboriginal Law Moot, held teaching and research assistant positions relating to property law and Indigenous Legal Orders, and Chaired Orientation Week with the Students’ Law Society.
Rachel offers services related to martial separation, common law separation, contested divorce, uncontested/simple divorce, property, child support, spousal support, custody/decision-making responsibility and access/parenting time, and Indigenous child welfare. Rachel looks forward to assisting individuals and families with their unique needs.
Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys biking, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
