Since its inception in 2017, the Condominium Authority Tribunal (“CAT”) has released over 500 decisions. Our firm tracks these decisions and looks for trends. This page highlights the broad conclusions: the number of decisions grouped by subject and the success rate of the parties. It also shows the sharp divide between records cases (unit owner favoured) and all other types of cases (condo favoured). These statistics are updated every quarter, with the last update being December 2023.
