SV Law Announces Managing Partner Transition
Guelph, ON – SV Law is pleased to announce a leadership transition effective January 1, 2026. After 10 years total (including the last 6 years of dedicated service as Managing Partner, Mark Muir Rodenburg will be stepping aside from the role. The firm is proud to announce that Nicola Melchers has been appointed as the incoming Managing Partner.
Recognizing the Leadership of Mark Muir Rodenburg
Mark has been a cornerstone of SV Law since joining the firm in 1993. Over his tenure, he has practiced in Litigation, Real Estate, Family Law, and Wills & Estates with a focus on Estate Litigation while demonstrating an unwavering commitment to client service and firm leadership. As Managing Partner, he has guided the firm through significant growth, strengthened practice teams, and upheld the values that define SV Law. The firm extends its sincere appreciation to Mark for his leadership, professionalism, and contributions over the past years.
Nicola brings a breadth of legal experience and proven leadership to her new role. She earned her LL.B. from the University of East Anglia (UK) in 1990, qualified as a Solicitor in the United Kingdom in 1994, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009. Nicola joined SV Law in 2010 and became a Partner in 2013. Her practice focuses on Business Law, Real Estate Law and Wills & Estates, where she has built a reputation for practical, solutions-oriented counsel. Nicola’s longstanding dedication to client service, combined with her strong community involvement, positions her well to lead the firm into its next chapter.
