Sasha completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa, studying English Literature and French as a Second Language. She returned to Ottawa to obtain her Juris Doctor degree, graduating with a cum laude distinction. While completing her studies, Sasha joined the Athletics and Social Committees where she planned various events for the law students. Sasha also worked as an editor and as Academic Professional Development Manager on the Ottawa Law Review where she was responsible for editing articles and footnotes for the university's legal journal and planning events to promote the academic and professional development of other editors and the entire student body. Through the Ottawa Law Review and through the Mentors in Law program, Sasha mentored various first- and second-year law students throughout her studies.
Sasha is excited to return to work in her hometown of Guelph. When outside the office, Sasha likes to travel and hike mountains, especially in Spanish-speaking countries where she can continue learning and practicing Spanish. She has travelled to 49 countries, but her favourite is Peru. More recently, she has enjoyed exploring more of our Canadian backyard, driving all the way north to the hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk where she swam in the Arctic Ocean.
